Three Arks Mentioned in The Bible

The only unsinkable ship ever built was an ancient one made of gopher wood, 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. It was three stories high and sealed with pitch. Noah’s ark was actually one of three arks mentioned in Scripture - all of them pictures of shelter from death and judgment. The first ark was “Noah’s Ark.” The second mentioned was the “Ark of Moses,” in which the baby Moses was delivered from judgment. The third ark was the “Ark of the Covenant,” with its blood-sprinkled mercy-seat. All three of these speak of God’s provision for deliverance from death and judgment.
