John Thomas a Missionary in India Exposed The Idol

It is said that the Rev. John Thomas, a missionary in India, was one day traveling through the country when he saw a group of people waiting to enter an idol temple. As soon as the doors were opened, and they started inside. He walked to the front and stood in front of the idol. He held up his hand and asked for their attention. He then put his fingers to his eyes and said, “It has eyes, but it cannot see, ears but it cannot hear, a nose but it cannot smell, hands but it cannot handle, and mouth but it cannot speak”. The people at first were stunned but soon gave him an applaud and being ashamed of their stupidity left the temple and went to their homes. God will bless us for using the members of our body for His glory. (Source Unknown).
