“Youth Reachout” takes 2000 to 42 countries

Harry Bollback, co-founder of Word of Life Fellowship often says it is good to remember the good hand of the Lord, and he will share a miracle story from the early days of Word of Life. He will tell about how one of the Clark sisters owned Word of Life Island and wanted to sell it for $125,000 dollars but Jack Wyrtzen offered her $25,000 and she took him up on the offer. I well remember how in 1973 my wife and I went on a missions trip to St. Johns, Newfoundland with 62 young people from the New England states and God challenged our hearts to take young people all over the world on short-term missions trips. It wasn’t until 1988 that the Lord allowed us, through Word of Life, to fulfill our dreams by starting “Youth Reachout” and in the next twelve years take over 2000 teens to 42 countries on short-term missions trips and see over 40,000 people make professions of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
