Looking Back With no Regrets

In September of 1962 my wife and I with our new born son accepted the position of Bible Club Representative with Word of Life and was moving to Ohio with only $100 per month of support promised and no place to live. Just as we were making the move a letter came from a well known youth organization offering us a position with them which included a salary, a home to live in and a car to drive. This was our test. We could have been very tempted but we were already committed to Word of Life and eagerly embarked on our new adventure trusting the Lord for His provision. We were sure that God wanted us with Word of Life and now looking back over 50 years we are very glad we passed the test. We can not even imagine what it would have been like to miss out on all that has happened in these years with Word of Life. (Lou Nicholes - Missionary/Author)
