Remember Where You Came From – I Thessalonians 3:6 – 3:8

Nicholes - Don’t Say Never

As a young person I was an introvert of the introverts. I remember one time when I was in Jr. High School the teacher called on me to stand up in class and read a paragraph. I read a sentence and a great big grapefruit came up in my throat and I couldn’t get another word to come out. I sat down humiliated, wishing the floor would swallow me up, and said that I would never stand up in front of anyone again. However, over the years the Lord has given me a great measure of victory; to the point that a few years ago I preached to a crowd of 10,000 young people in India for 4 days. Yet, even today, if someone calls me on the spur of the moment to read something I may get choked up. I believe it is the Lord’s way of reminding me where I came from and who it is that gives me the victory. (Lou Nicholes - Missionary/Author).
