Tribal Chief Says "Show me Your God!”

Once there was a missionary in one of the world’s backward countries who was trying to witness to a tribal chief. The chief has just pointed to his idols and said; “There are my gods, show me your God and perhaps I shall believe in Him.” The missionary explained that his God was invisible and could not be seen by any human eye. To see Him would be to be blinded. The missionary went on to say; “I cannot show you my God, but I can show you one of His messengers. Let me blindfold you here in your hut. Then I will lead you into the presence of the minister of my God.” The chief agreed. The missionary blindfolded him in the darkness of the hut. Then he led him outside and told him to turn his face toward the sky. When he tore the blindfold away the chief staggered back, blinded by the noonday sun. The sun spoke a language even the chief could understand. (Source Unknown)
