Jim Making a Decision For Christ Dies Later With Sin in His Life

In the early days of our ministry with Word of Life I organized an evangelistic Jack Wyrtzen rally near where we lived. At that event Jim and his entire family came forward to accept Christ as their saviour. Jim had 5 teenagers and had a great desire for them to grow spiritually. Since he was a new believer he asked if he could come and bring his teens to the Bible Club I was leading each week. He came and began to grow spiritually and after a period of time became the Club leader. He had a great burden for teens and did a terrific job. After a couple of years he told me he was going to have to give up the Club. Soon I learned he had left his family to live with another woman. He was diabetic and had to have one leg amputated and soon the other one. Each time I visited him in the hospital and talked to him about his sin and urged him to separate from this sinful way of living and go back to his family, but each time he would go back to live with this woman. To continue living like this is dangerous and soon I read his name in the death notices of the local newspaper. (Lou Nicholes - Missionary/Author).
